These 12 studio apartments are located close to campus (an 8-minute walk or 5 minutes by bicycle). Each apartment is a Japanese-style “one-room” apartment.
Overview
Overview: The apartments are Western-style rooms without tatami flooring. The floors are polished wood. Each apartment has a floor space of 30 square meters (about 325 square feet) and a balcony of 3.6 square meters (about 39 square feet). Villa 1 apartments include a Western-style toilet and a bathroom with a shower and bathtub. The apartments are equipped with air conditioning and heating, a large wardrobe, and a kitchen. YAMASA provides a refrigerator, an electric hot plate, and an electric rice cooker. Gas cooking is not available. Cooking utensils are not provided, but they can be purchased inexpensively at nearby shops. The main room includes a bed, desk, chair, study lamp, and bookshelf.
Location: In addition to being close to campus, the apartments are conveniently located near shops, restaurants, supermarkets, and bus stops. If you would like easy access to sightseeing destinations in central Japan, these apartments are about a 10-minute bicycle ride from JR Okazaki Station. This station is on the JR Tokaido Line (the main railway line connecting Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, Shizuoka, and Tokyo), providing excellent access to Nagoya, Kanayama, Mikawa-Anjo, the marina and hot spring resort area of Gamagori on Mikawa Bay, and Toyohashi.
Washing Machine: Washing machines are located between the YAMASA Villa 3 and Villa 4 apartments (about a 1-minute walk) and are available free of charge.
Internet: Each room is equipped with one wireless router with four 1 Gbps LAN sockets, allowing direct, free, and unlimited internet access.
