At YAMASA, we offer a variety of short-term courses focused on improving conversational skills and practical Japanese for the workplace, as well as long-term courses designed to build strong Japanese language ability for the future. Course duration and starting dates are designed to be flexible so that students can choose options that best fit their individual plans and preferences.

One of YAMASA’s distinctive features is the opportunity to study alongside classmates from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds. Through pair work and group activities with fellow students, you will practice Japanese in a dynamic environment while our instructors support you in achieving your learning goals.

AIJP / Japanese Language and Culture Research Course (2-Year Program – MEXT Accreditation Pending)

This course aims to help international students gain the skills needed to accomplish their goals by respecting different cultures and developing a deeper understanding of the Japanese language and Japanese culture.

Students study the four language skills—reading, writing, listening, and speaking—with the goal of reaching the B2 level within two years.

3 months to 1 year and 9 months (3-month increments)

This course aims to help students develop the ability to accomplish their goals by respecting different cultures and gaining a deeper understanding of the Japanese language and Japanese culture.
