Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, Residence L offers apartments of about 35 square meters. Each unit includes a bedroom, dining room, walk-in closet, toilet, bathroom, washbasin area, and a balcony.
The interior has been extensively renovated and feels like a hotel room. The apartment is well equipped, with air conditioning throughout. The dining room includes a dining table, a large television, and a sofa, creating a comfortable space to relax. The kitchen area is also fully equipped with a three-burner gas cooktop, refrigerator, electric kettle, rice cooker, microwave oven, and toaster—providing more than enough facilities for those who enjoy cooking.
For safety, the apartment includes an intercom with a camera (which records images of visitors) and an emergency light for power outages. A washer–dryer unit is provided for laundry, and the toilet is equipped with a typical Japanese washlet. The bathroom includes both a bathtub and a shower, allowing residents to relax after a long day. A Wi-Fi router is available from the day of move-in, so internet access is immediately available. Please note that duvets are not provided, but they can be rented or purchased through the YAMASA Institute.
Overview
Location: The apartments are located 1.5 km from campus but are easily accessible by bicycle. They are also very close to shops (including the Feel News shopping center), restaurants, supermarkets, parks, a pond, and bus stops. A 24-hour convenience store is about a 7-minute walk (500 meters) away. JR Okazaki Station, on the JR Tokaido Main Line (the major rail line connecting Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, Shizuoka, and Tokyo), is about 12 minutes away by bicycle and provides excellent access to Nagoya, Kanayama, Mikawa-Anjo, Gamagori on Mikawa Bay (a marina and hot spring resort), and Toyohashi.
Internet: Each room is equipped with a wireless router with four 1 Gbps LAN sockets, allowing direct, free, and unlimited internet access.
