The required visa and admission procedures differ depending on the length of your studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"visa_abroad\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Student Visa [YAMASA Institute \/ Accredited Course (planned)]<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you wish to study for 6 months or more and cannot stay in Japan on a short-term stay visa (or other visas), you will need to apply for a student visa. As the YAMASA Institute has been accredited as a Japanese language school by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) starting October 2026, student visa applications are now only accepted for the 2-Year Program. If you wish to obtain a student visa for a different duration, please contact us. We will use your inquiry as a reference for future program planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are four admission periods each year: April, July, October, and January.<br>Applications are generally accepted about eight months in advance. The application period differs depending on the admission term.<br>Please check the explanation and application information for the YAMASA student visa below before proceeding with your application. However, depending on your nationality, you may need to apply for one in advance. society, and many students at YAMASA also pay their tuition in cash.<br>However, please do not send cash by post or courier.<br>This method is only available when paying in person at the
