Sightseeing - Festivals

For most people who live in or visit Japan, festivals are an absolute highlight. Ranging from fireworks festivals in Gamagori or Okazaki to more ‘exotic’ events like the Naked Man Festival in Konomiya or the Honen Matsuri in Komaki, they are a definite item for any Japanophile’s bucket list.

In addition to being able to enjoy the official festivities on offer, they are also a great chance for visitors or long term residents to Japan to partake in good food and drink as well as an opportunity to meet new friends or spend time with old ones.

Please refer to one of the articles provided below to find out what kind of festivals you can attend during your stay in Chubu.

As Chubupedia is an ongoing project, please be sure to watch this space as we continue to update this resource.
