Highland Park - Single Malt Orkney Islands Scotch Whisky
The Highland Park distillery was established in 1798. It is the northernmost distillery in Scotland - by about 800 meters from its neighbour Scapa. If you pop into Zig Zag for a dram of this whisky, its usually worth comparing it with its neighbour just to get an idea of the diversity of flavors.
Rugged and windswept the Orkneys are a small cluster of islands off the northernmost tip of the mainland of Scotland. The climate is a little unforgiving, but in a Highland Park whisky you get sense the heather, the smokiness and the role of peat. This whisky has beautiful color and nose and a long finish. Sip slowly. Enjoy.

"dancin' around the whisky
dancin' around och aye!
hey ho, away we go
we'll dance and drink until we die"
