    Cities introduction

    While the YAMASA Institute itself is located in Okazaki, the Chubu region (which consists of Aichi, Shizuoka, Mie, Gifu, Ishikawa, Nagano, Niigata and Fukui) is home to numerous cities with a total population equaling close to 22 million people. Many of these cities have their own unique charms and attractions and are more than worth making a visit to.
