I participated in the school's video production and web journalism workstudy program during which I attended the SILAC program for four weeks, helped part-time in the International office for four weeks and then full time for the remaining eight.
In addition to improving my language skills in the SILAC program, I was here to learn website programming through my work in the International office and about Japanese life during my stay in Okazaki.
Welcome to the journal of my 12 week visit to the Aichi Center for Japanese Studies at the Yamasa Institute in Okazaki which took place between November 25th, 2003 and February 19th, 2004. I am a Canadian citizen of Japanese heritage from Vancouver, British Columbia. I work as a business analyst with the Vancouver Port Authority.
