The ropeway to the summit that connects to the top station of the gondola. Waiting for the gondola is a bit irritating the first time, but it is possible to get out of the wind while you wait and the ropeway has surprisingly high carrying capacity and turnaround.

The forested areas under the ropeway provide some of the best off-piste skiing and snowboarding conditions within a half hour of Sapporo City. On fresh powder snow, this area is heaven.
