Media crews taping the ice carvers at work. The media usually show up after 10 when the Odori Park illumination has finished, and the crowds in Susukino are eating and drinking. The later you show up the less crowding there is, and the artists often work late into the night (sometimes through the night) so if you turn up late you can get better pictures of the sculptures.
