The view from just in front of the Start House. At the base of the photo you can see the Operations Center to the right (includes media space). The round glass fronted structure is the entrance to the Sapporo Winter Sports Museum. The building to the left of the museum is the "Crystal House", which contains the restaurant and shop.

In the center right you have a good view of the Maruyama Baseball Stadium. Odori park and the Sapporo TV tower are in the middle at the top of the picture, the large buildings towards the left are those of the Sapporo station area. Hokkaido Centennial Memorial Tower is the smudge on the horizon to the right.
