a) From Chubu Centrair International Airport, Nagoya

Note: Okazaki Station [CA52] and Higashi Okazaki Station [NH13] explained

1) Okazaki Station/岡崎駅 [Station code CA52] is used by Japan Railways and Aichi Loop Line. (10 minutes walk from Yamasa.)
2) Higashi Okazaki Station/東岡崎駅 [Station code NH13] is used by Meitetsu group. (60 minutes walk from Yamasa.)
For our students the important one is the 1) Okazaki Station/岡崎駅 [CA52]. Be careful and do not mix these two.

The closest international airport to Yamasa is Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO)
There are a number of ways to get to Yamasa from here.

Chubu Centrair International Airport Arrival Lobby

1) Train (1 hour; 1,430 yen)

If you take train from the Chubu Centrair International Airport [TA24], please use a limited express (Meitetsu Tokoname Line) bound for Meitetsu Nagoya Station [NH36]. Get off at Kanayama Station [NH34] and change trains here to the JR Tokaido Line (Do not change train to Meitetsu line with "Higashi Okazaki [NH13]" station, you will need to aim for JR Tokaido Line's "Okazaki [CA52]" station). Get on a rapid express (Kaisoku, Shin kaisoku or Tokubetsu kaisoku) train bound for Toyohashi [CA42]. After arriving to the "Okazaki [CA52]" station, you can walk to Yamasa (about 10 minutes) or you can use our free pickup service. In this case the Yamasa staff member will meet you at the east exit side pick up/drop-off area. Note that our staff member can not meet you at the wicket because he/she can`t park and leave the car at the pick up/drop off area.

Chubu Centrair International Airport [TA24] -> Meitetsu Tokoname line (limited express) -> Kanayama [NH34]
Kanayama [NH34] -> JR line (rapid express) -> Okazaki [CA52]
Okazaki [CA52] -> walk or free pickup service -> Yamasa

The train tickets cost 810 yen for the Meitetsu line and 620 yen for the JR line. It takes about 1 hour from the airport to Okazaki.

2) Yamasa Airport Pickup Service (1 hour; 12,000 yen)

This is the safest, most convenient but also the most expensive option. Our staff member will meet you at the custom clearance gate of the Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO). The payment of \12,000 yen fee is required.
