To extend to those whose schedules are tight the maximum range of learning possibilities, since 2003, it became possible to participate in the tour component only of the Japan Discovery Program. The only condition is that participants be either students enrolled in the OCJS, or have studied Japanese in the past for at least 50-80 hours at Yamasa or an accredited university/college. It is also possible to participate in the program following private lessons or the Refresher Course.
