As of April 2003, the course is available up to Level 3 of the JLPT (for studies higher than this level, you would need to enrol in one of the Academic Programs or study in Private classes). This is because the C.A.L.L. system has been developed to a level covering from absolute beginner to a score of approximately 350/400 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test at Level 3. This is the equivalent of around 6 months of intensive study in the AIJP if commenced from absolute beginner level. The Private classes and the One-on-One consultations and practice with the faculty during the C.A.L.L. Seminars is conducted in Japanese only using the Direct Method. The C.A.L.L. system is also in Japanese, but with a customizable interface providing language support in Chinese, Czech, English, German, Korean or Spanish. The C.A.L.L. curriculum is also customizable. The lessons are divided into six sections: Vocabulary, Kanji, Grammar, Conversation, Listening, and Reading Students can select which skills to study, providing you with the opportunity to target and improve weaknesses.
