The Minna no Nihongo series has 2 books with 50 chapters in total. Book I covers lessons 1-25. A full set includes 1 textbook, an audio tape and translation/grammar notes in several languages. From absolute beginner level it takes around 6 weeks in the SILAC at Yamasa to complete a book.
