Residence L has two sizes of apartment, 2DK and 3DK co-located in the same complex. They are located in a very quiet residential area. Residence L apartments are usually allocated to students studying at Yamasa long term, and are particularly suitable as shared accommodation for couples or young families. They can also be shared by several students to reduce the costs of housing even further. The apartments are close to shops, restaurants, supermarkets and bus-stops. There is a 24-hour convenience store with a public telephone about 300 meters away. It is about a 15-20 minute walk, (by bicycle less than 10 minutes) to the campus.
