Located just a few minutes walk from the campus is the Minami Branch of the Okazaki Shinyou Ginko (Okashin Bank). You should be able to see the Yamasa II building in the left background. This bank is where students (including those on short-term tourist visas) are able to open their bank accounts etc. The branch has gradually become accustomed to foreign students - so its a little more 'gaijin friendly' than most Japanese banks.
