A tourist boat making its way along the canal in the Okazaki Park area of Kyoto. Taken during one of Yamasa's optional Weekend Tours, the building to the rear is the Lake Biwa Canal Museum, which explains the major engineering works completed in the Meiji period that revitalized Kyoto. The area to the left is Kyoto's Municipal Zoo, and the forested area slopes to the rear are the famous Higashiyama Hills.
