Applications should include a full resume detailing education and experience. The resume should be in Japanese only, if you do not have immediate access to Japanese software then the application may be hand-written.

Introduction:

The Aichi Center for Japanese Studies provides intensive Japanese language programs with residential or homestay accommodation. Instructors teach in teams, using the direct method to multinational/multilingual classes. Qualified and experienced faculty are sought, accommodation may be arranged for applicants looking to relocate to Aichi Prefecture.

Computer Skills:

You do not need to have computer experience, training will be provided whenever necessary.

Education Background:

An applicant should have a Bachelor's degree in Japanese Language Education. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience is recommended including at least one year outside Japan. All teaching is to be done in Japanese, however it is considered useful if you also have daily conversational fluency in at least one of the following foreign languages - Chinese, English, German, Korean or Spanish. You need to be a native speaker of the Japanese language.

Travel:

Travel is not usually required, however please indicate on your application as to whether you would be willing to travel, as some positions are for off-campus extension programs.
