What's new in Okazaki this month?
(October
November
)
October 2000: The season of "kouyou" or red leaves, Autumn is the best time to enjoy traditional Japanese foods and to spend time outside enjoying the mild days and cool evenings. Trips to Asuke, Kyoto and Nara are organised for this time so that you can see a little of traditional Japan at its best. Also, Japan is a country of contradictions, of ultra-traditional and modern, as reflected in the mix of festivals - from fire-festivals to halloween.
