We offer intensive programs available at all levels from absolute beginner through to advanced. You can study from just 4 weeks to as long as 2 years.Yamasa offers more summer and autumn options, more intersessions and more flexibility than any other provider of quality Japanese programs. No Institute offers more course options, flexibility, quality or affordability than Yamasa.

ACADEMIC PROGRAMS: Academic Intensive Japanese Program (AIJP) Start Dates: April 5 July 4 Oct. 5 January 9 Duration: Minimum 3 months, Maximum 2 years. Levels: Absolute beginner to Pre-Advanced. Intensity: 23 classes/week, 3 electives. Tuition: Cost-price, Instalments OK. For serious students of all levels - the A.I.J.P. provides in-country immersion, flexibility and is our most popular long term program. Acceleration (ultra-intensive) Program. Start Dates: Apr. 5 May 19 July 3 Aug. 11 Oct. 5 Dec. 8 Duration: Minimum 6 weeks, Maximum 1 year. Levels: Absolute beginner to Intermediate. Intensity: 30 or 20 classes/week, no electives. Tuition: Cost-price, Instalments OK. The fastest way to increase your Japanese level. Ultra intensive 30 or 20 class/week program with top faculty/small classes. Advanced Japanese Studies Program (AJSP). Start Dates: April 5 July 4 Oct. 5 January 9 Duration: Minimum 3 months, Maximum 1 year. Levels: Advanced (JLPT Level 2 up) Intensity: 23 classes/week, 3 electives. Tuition: Cost-price, Instalments OK. Designed for students aiming to undertake professional or postgraduate studies, the program takes you to very advanced levels of proficiency.
