Life Long Education - Mature StudentsLinked to the high level of education amongst our students is our committment to lifelong adult education. Our Japanese programs are designed for mature, highly motivated individuals. We do not run childrens' programs or lower our standards. As a result our programs attract serious students. Chris Moorhouse joined Yamasa to fulfill a personal interest in learning Japanese - he also has a Masters degree (MSc) in Computer Science from Durham University in the UK. Tiziana Launech, a native Italian speaker and a mature age student from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, is actually continuing her studies at Monash while enrolled full time at Yamasa. The internet facilities at Yamasa, the level of motivation of the student, and the flexibility of Monash are the three factors that create this opportunity.Left to right: Chris Moorehouse, Durham Univ., UK - Tiziana Launech, Monash Univ.
