Language & Culture Summer Program - Dates

The program commences at 9am on July 2nd (Wednesday). Please arrive either June 30th or July 1st (Click here for arrival information). Participants can opt for a free airport transfer (using airport limousine, with cost reimbursed in full by Yamasa) or for an airport pickup (includes fee for partial cost recovery). The program is completed on July 21st, and homestay/hotel checkout needs to be completed before 12 o'clock (noon) on Wednesday July 23rd.

There are 4 holidays during the program, July 5th (Saturday), and the 6th, 13th and 20th (all of which are Sundays). Participants in homestays are advised to spend this time with the host families if possible. Participants staying in hotel accommodation have the option of participating in optional day trips that are available on the 13th and 16th of July. These are advertized on the Weekend Tour Schedule website as well as on the bulletin boards in Aoi Hall on the Yamasa campus.

Participants seeking to transfer to the Sapporo summer programs would fly to Sapporo City in the evening of July 21st. As there are discounts available for transferring students (the administration fees are waived), please contact the Admissions Office prior to applying for the courses.
