As of 2012 the main text for beginners (including relative beginners) is the "Minna no Nihongo" text retailing at JPY2625 including the 5% sales tax. The translation/grammar notes cost JPY2100 (also including the 5% tax). If you want to obtain your own copy of the audio, you need to purchase these separately.
