Seasonal/Experiential

By Declan Murphy,
Director - International Office

As well as our long term programs, Yamasa has invested very heavily in providing a full range of short course options that are available all year round. We are also increasingly able to customize your learning experience to suit your objectives - for example providing multiple academic program options for university students or those seeking to enter graduate schools, and multiple extension program options for language travellers, corporate learners or distance learners.

The four seasons in Japan provide considerable character as the range of activities on offer each season substantially influences both the local culture and the actual programs. While many students may only be able to join an on-campus program during the northern or southern hemisphere summers, if you do have some discretion over when you can take holidays or schedule your program you may find it worth considering the "off-peak" seasons of Spring and Autumn. Students joining Extension programs in particular, will find not only small class sizes and closer personal contact with faculty, but will also be able to take advantage of discounts on accommodation and activities.
