Discovery - Holiday Dates

Public Holidays: Japan has a number of public holidays. The dates listed below are the public holidays that occur on weekdays during the teaching schedule. Public holidays that fall on weekends have not been listed. The only exceptions are the short break in August (the Obon festival) and the New Year Holiday (includes both Yamasa holidays and Public Holidays). In order to minimize the disruption public holidays cause to the arrivals and teaching schedule, we in some cases move the holiday, creating "furikaekyuujitsu" to a different date. Whenever this occurs an explanation is included below.
The tour component is not affected by the Public Holidays - only the Study Component.
