Option A, the "Study then Tour" Option involves a period of study (2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 weeks) followed by a tour (3, 5, 8, 10 or 12 days). Compared to study/tour programs offered elsewhere in Japan (or anywhere else in the world), Yamasa's Discovery "Study then Tour" Option offers several advantages:

• You can vary the length of study component (study flexibility)
• You can vary the length of the tour component (travel flexibility)
• There are a minimum of 6 group class levels available (all year round)
• Group classes have size limits (the best student/teacher ratio in Japan (notes).
• The only program providing choice of small group tour & either private or group lessons.
• The only program offered all year (professional faculty - not seasonal contract teachers).
• Small tour group size (off-season average is 5, peak season average is only 9 participants)
• Low-cost airport pickup/transfer from Nagoya international airport.
• Free internet access. Free after-program travel booking service.
• Access to OCJS learning continues for 1 year after completion.
• Yamasa provides fulltime 24x7 support in your studies, accommodation, welfare and safety. Absolutely nothing is subcontracted. Yamasa is the only accredited Institute in Japan providing a study + tour option that does not involve third parties. Yamasa is the only Institute (accredited or otherwise) providing such a program with a safe deferral/refund policy in case you need to change schedules (security)
