The AJSP is taught by designated teaching team selected from Yamasa's faculty members who will provide considerable variety, although one faculty member will be designated as your academic advisor. All of the teachers are native speaking, fully qualified and highly experienced professional teachers of Japanese as a foreign language. Before assuming positions in the AJSP teaching team, all of the faculty are required to have considerable experience in teaching Japanese as a second language both overseas and teaching Yamasa's AIJP.

Classes are taught via the direct method only. You will hear no foreign languages in the classroom and will be expected to speak Japanese only at all times.
