If you are going to be staying in Yamasa arranged accommodation or homestays, you need to let us know your arrival details. If you know your arrival date, flight number, times etc then you are ready to register.

There is one more important piece of information that we will need to know - luggage. Feel free to bring as much luggage as you need, as it is important for your studies that you be comfortable. We ask this because we need to plan the pickup services from the airport or station taking into account the number of students arriving AND the amount of storage space required per vehicle. All of the pickups are made by faculty members - often unpaid and in their own time, and using their own cars - so IF you are bringing 5 suitcases, a bicycle, surfboard, large musical instruments etc, we need to know this in advance. AND FINALLY - Don't delay! Please give us at least 5 days notice.

There are several ways to get to Okazaki, and the form for registration is different depending on what method of transport you use.

Air:

If you are arriving by air, we need to know which airport. Most students arrive at Centrair/Nagoya airport, either directly or after transiting in another airport such as Narita (Tokyo).

• Centrair/Nagoya: Airport pick up services are only available for this airport. Please accept our apologies for not being able to meet you at the more distant airports. If you are arriving at Nagoya, you can choose either to be met at Nagoya airport by one of our staff (paid service) or use the airport limousine bus (fare refunded in full by Yamasa, only for buses from Nagoya airport). Either way, the form you use is the same.
  Arrival Registration 1. For arrivals at (direct or indirect) at Centrair/Nagoya Airport (for Free Bus Transfer or to request Yamasa pickup)

• Other Airports: If you are arriving by air at any other airport in Japan, and not boarding a connecting flight to Nagoya, we still need to know how and when you will be arriving. If you are arriving by train from other airports or other cities in Japan, then we provide a free station pickup service if you arrive at JR Okazaki Station. Regardless of which airport you are using (Narita, Kansai etc) and which train, bus or car you board to get to Okazaki, the form you use is the same.
  Arrival Registration 2. For arrivals at any other airport then train/bus/car to Okazaki Station or Yamasa.

Ferry/Road/Rail:

If you are coming to Okazaki by car, bus, train etc, you would complete one of the following forms. If you are currently in Japan and will be travelling to Okazaki please complete Arrival Registration 3. If you do not live in Japan and will be entering Japan by ferry, and then travelling to Okazaki please complete Arrival Registration 4.

Arrival Registration 3. For residents of Japan travelling to Okazaki Station or Yamasa by train, bus or car.
Arrival Registration 4. For students arriving in Japan by ferry and then travelling to Okazaki Station or Yamasa by train, bus or car.
