Hello! If you are reading this page, it is probably because you received an autoresponder message from Admissions
...or you might be spending far too much time on the internet.
As you have probably heard by now, the Admissions Office is closed until January 2nd. The Student Services Office is open until 4.30pm on December 27th. The Student Services Office re-opens on January 5th. If you received our auto-response, please rest assured that we have your email and will be in contact as soon as possible.

BUT WHAT IF I NEED TO CONTACT YAMASA RIGHT NOW!!!

No problem. This page explains how you can disrupt our holiday plans in a cheerful, efficient and appropriately festive manner.

(Just joking)

Please read the following so that you can receive the information you require as quickly as possible.

Arrival Details:

If you are arriving soon and wish to register your flight/arrival details, or change those details, please click here and complete the form. It will be checked every 24-36 hours. If you are arriving soon and haven't received confirmation that we have your details, please read on!

FAQ / "Can't find what I need on the homepage":

If you are having trouble finding information on the homepage, please use the sitemap AND the search engine (especially the google search tool). If your question is one that has been asked before - the chances are high that the information is already on the page. If you still can't find it - please read below.

If you need to contact a human being and it can't wait until January 2nd, please note the following:

By Email:

Declan Murphy (Director - Intl Office) and Jon Walden (Admissions Coordinator) will be on holiday from December 29th to January 2nd. However, Declan will sometimes plug his laptop into the nearest palm tree. To contact him by email, write to declan@yamasa.org and write "AR-MTTY" in the subject line.

Student Services staff will be working until Friday 27th. If you need to get an urgent message to them, please write in Japanese (or simple English) to gakuseika@yamasa.org Please note that this should only be used for absolutely urgent matters.

By Fax:
If you prefer to write in Chinese or Korean, this is probably the best method. Likewise if you are living in a timezone 7 or more hours different to Japan.

If you are calling from OUTSIDE Japan - fax number is +81-564-55-8113

If you are calling from INSIDE Japan - fax number is 0564-55-8113

By Telephone:
If you prefer to call us, please note that you need to call only during business hours (check the clock at the top of this page), and only up until the 28th of December. There will be no one manning the phones from the 28th of December. Until the 5th of January, you will only be able to contact the Admissions Office by email.

If you are calling from OUTSIDE Japan - telephone number is +81-564-55-8111

If you are calling from INSIDE Japan - telephone number is 0564-55-8111
