Winter is an excellent time to visit Okazaki and study Japanese in Japan. The climate is mild and snowfalls are light. The bitter cold of Kyoto or Tokyo is avoided, but the winter festivals, culture and atmosphere are enjoyed by all. Trips into the nearby Southern Alps are easily arranged so that you can go skiing, snowboarding, or sightseeing in the snow country. Less people study at this time of year, so class sizes tend to be smaller and accommodation less heavily booked. However the popular homestay option is harder to supply due to the festivals and holidays - so very early bookings are advised.

Maintaining our tradition of being the most flexible language education provider in Japan, we offer 3 Academic programs, 4 Study Tours including a fantastic tour of Hokkaido coinciding with the Sapporo Snow Festival, and 6 Short course start dates.. Quality is always the number 1 consideration at Yamasa, but we take pride in our ability to offer you the courses that you want when you want them. Choose the program that suits your needs and schedule and we look forward to welcoming you to Winter in Okazaki. If you are unsure of which program to choose, please write to Mr Declan Murphy.
