Maintaining our tradition of being the most flexible language education provider in Japan, we offer 3 Academic programs, 4 Study Tours including a fantastic tour of Hokkaido coinciding with the Sapporo Snow Festival, and 6 Short course start dates.. Quality is always the number 1 consideration at Yamasa, but we take pride in our ability to offer you the courses that you want when you want them. Japan Discovery Program - Study Tours Coming to Japan for the first time? Why not try a special study tour combining 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 weeks of classes and an adventure tour discovering the real Japan. Tours start December 09, January 6th, Januray 20th, and a special Hokkaido centered tour commencing February 3rd - See more of Japan & gain a deeper understanding of Japan's people and culture. Short Intensive Language Acquisition Courses.
Start one of Yamasa's renowned SILAC programs from
Refresher Course
Start the Refresher Course any weekday this winter. An ultra-flexible low cost program that leverages Yamasa's modern
ACJS facilities, the OCJS's high tech CALL Seminar Center, and private or semi-private lessons in Aoi Hall to provide

6 weeks study + 4 or 6 Week Internship Program
Combine language study with real world work experience through Yamasa's internship
program. One of the few internships that combine formal Japanese language study with
professional faculty & exposure to Japanese language based workplaces.
Start from
Ultra-intensive Program. - Format 2 from December 8, 22, January 05, 19, February 2, 16 - Format 1 from January 5th. The fastest and most affordable way to improve your Japanese level quickly. Available as short course or as part of longer term studies, this ultra intensive 28 class per week academic program has levels available from absolute beginner to intermediate. AIJP - Winter Quarter - From January 10th - you can start a 3 month immersion in Japan or commence longer term studies. For serious students of all levels - the Academic Intensive Japanese Program provides graded levels in January 2006 from absolute beginner to JLPT Level 2. More intense than most long term programs with 20 core classes per week plus up to 4 electives. Click here for more information
AJSP - Winter Quarter. For advanced students of Japanese only, this program starts January 10th from JLPT Level 2 and rapidly moves higher. The course duration is from 3 months to 1 year. If you are thinking of professional careers or Postgraduate studies, this course is the best for you. The 20 core class/4 elective class per week program with small class sizes and individual attention takes you to very advanced levels of proficiency. Click here for more information
