Spring Greenery

Spring is the beginning of the academic year and the largest commencement for long term studies. It is a beautiful time to be in Okazaki. The climate is perfect. The cherry blossom trees in the parks and around the castle, as well as along the many rivers and streams shower the ground with pink and white petals. In early May, the Tokugawa Ieyasu festival and parade is a great chance to experience some of the local culture. The mountains of the Oku-Mikawa district and southern alps are particularly beautiful as wild flowers emerge from the snow thaw - and on the weekend trips or discovery tours you will be able to see parts of Japan few people have the opportunity to.

This year, Yamasa continues to provide more spring program options than any other other school including 4 Academic programs, multiple study tour options, 7 Short course start dates and 7 Internship start dates. It is the beginning of the academic year, but we also ensure that there is a full range of programs flowing through from the winter quarter. The scheduling is a challenge, but we remain the only quality school providing seamless transfers through March and April - your studies are never interrupted. Quality is the number 1 consideration at Yamasa - however our flexibility is also unmatched. Choose a program that suits your needs and schedule - we hope you can join us and enjoy Spring in Okazaki. If you are unsure of which program to choose, please write to Mr Declan Murphy. Also, remember to check out the special off-season discounts available!
